Red Beach Methodist has been home to our Preschool for more than 20 years and has undergone redevelopment several times within that span.

As you walk in to our Red Beach Centre you will be warmly greeted by our kind caring teaching team and administrator. As you explore our environment, you will just love the huge outdoor all-weather play area.
The facility can cater to up to 30 children. With best teaching practice in mind, the space is child-focused and functional.
The structure of the day is organised in such a way as to maximise a variety of learning experiences and to support individual styles of learning.
Each session we have a time together on the mat sharing bible stories, children’s interests, songs, numeracy and phonics. Each mat time is highly interactive and creates a platform for relevant activities to support Te Reo Maori and cultural identities and languages.
We include all ages in one learning space as we believe this encourages children of different ages to learn from each other. It also means children don’t have to transition through different classes as they grow.
We provide a high level of flexibility and options available for families.

Morning Session 8.30–11.30am
Afternoon Session 11.30am–3.30pm
Seven Hour Full Day 8.30am–3.30pm
Eight Hour Full Day 8:00am–4:00pm
Please note: We recommend a minimum of two sessions per week.
We have an open door policy; parents and other interested adults are welcome to visit at any time without an appointment.

Fee Schedule
Red Beach Fee Schedule from 30 January 2024
The standard hourly rate for children under 3 years old, and hours exceeding the 20 ECE hours, is $7.90.
Fees include an optional charge of $3.65 for every ECE hour. (Please see the Optional Charge section below for more information.)
Absenteeism / Sickness
Fees are charged as per permanent booking.
A late fee of $1 per minute shall be payable for children who are picked up after the centre’s specified end of session time.
Two make-up sessions are available per term at the centre manager’s discretion when space allows.
OPTIONAL CHARGES
At KingsWay Preschools we are committed to providing an excellent standard of care, play and learning environments for your child.
To maintain this level of excellence we provide over and above the regulated standard of registered teachers, and teacher to child ratios as required by the Ministry of Education. We also provide morning and afternoon teas for the children.
